LORENZO LAMAS CYCLES:
I AM honored to have worked with my friend Lorenzo Lamas on his hit TV Series Renegade.
Knowing Lorenzo personally, I can tell you he fully embraces the spirit and passion of motorcycing, freedom and the open road.
and let's face it ...he's just one sexy man!
Here in info - hot of the press... Lorenzo Lamas will join Jesse James and the Tuetul's of "American Chopper" as the next celeb to cash in on the international custom bike craze when he launches his own signature motorcycle company, Lorenzo Lamas Cycles (aka LLC), at Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2009. Lorenzo's new lifestyle brand includes 4 signature models of custom motorcycles (designed and crafted by world-class builder, Ralph Randolph), the Knockout Bobber, Power Sled, Badlands Bomber & Reno Rocket. The LLC brand will also include apparel, jewelry and even a Southern Rock-inspired "Lorenzo's Roadhouse" restaurant franchise. Early sponsors of Lorenzo's new company include Patron Spirits Company and the one-of-a-kind Patron Gran Platinum Bike (commemorating Patron's $200 bottle of tequila) will be unveiled at this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and tour with Lorenzo throughout 2009 and 2010. In addition, fabrication is under way on LLC's 2010 Custom "Love Ride" Charity Bike that will tour throughout 2010 and be raffled to benefit Love Ride charities at next year's event. Lorenzo will kick off the 69th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally by leading 250 riders in the Annual Mayor's Ride, alongside Randolph and the Mayor of Sturgis. Proceeds from the ride benefit local firefighters. Lorenzo Lamas, “Since building my first chopper back in '79, I've wanted to put my stamp on custom motorcycle designs. The rubber has finally met the road with Lorenzo Lamas Cycles. While filming all over the country for my show "Renegade", I rapped with a lot of folks from all walks of life. Everyone loves the spirit of the open road and embraces individuality. My motorcycle company will embody this ideal. We will combine unique but timeless designs with a 'wild west vibe' and the reliability and workmanship that only my partner, Ralph Randolph can deliver. I've waited a long time for this perfect storm of creative forces to come together and I've seen a lot of styles and fads come and go. What's here to stay is “build quality” and timeless design and I'm stoked to be able to share that with all of you on our rides and at our events. Till then, keep the shiny side up!”

Charlene Casey – Owner of Sassybiker.com Charlene describes herself as a simple woman, a mother and a wife. At 48, she rides a 2005 Yamaha V-Star and although she loved her bike it was too plain and personalized it with her s edgy but feminine flair of hearts, roses and ribbons. Her rear fender was stripped of the stock lighting assembly and a new assembly installed with frenched brake lights with 5 heart shapes that light sequentially when the brakes are used, as well as the turn signals. Charlene mentions, “I didn’t learn to ride until 2004 when I met my soon to be husband. He’s been riding for over 30 years but I didn’t like being a passenger. By day I am a Records Manager for a law firm in Westwood, California, has a staff of 7 who love me (I hope), I’m fair and honest. I’ve been at that firm for 10 years. I came up with Sassybiker a few years ago because I hated the gear that was available for women. My choices were black, black and black! I wanted bright and fun colors, so I added Swarovski crystals to bling out my helmet. I had two close friends who were diagnosed with breast cancer. I wanted to help in some way but didn’t know how. I took my pink helmet and put a breast cancer ribbon on it in crystals. I wanted to donate it to the Susan G. Komen Foundation but they never responded to my inquiry. I held on to the helmet thinking the day would come when it would be important. I soon came across Tannis Fuhr , known as Flo who was raising awareness for Breast Cancer and about to embark on the conga ride for the cure. I donated my helmet to her and that’s how Sassybiker took off.I just love what I do with crystals. My clients are breathless when they receive their helmets. They can’t believe their eyes and often call me with teary gratitude. I am not on TV and I’m not a skinny model. I’m a curvy, older, sassy woman who loves riding my motorcycle. I think there are a lot of women like me in the world that no one ever gets o see on TV or in magazines. I don’t wear a thong bikini but wish I could (smile) which seems to be a requirement to get noticed in the major biker magazines. I am an artist, crystals are my paint; helmets are my canvas.” Womenmotorcyclist is honored to connect with such a vivacious beautiful rider. We know that everywhere Charlene rides she brings joy and smiles to many. Check out her work at:www.sassybiker.com

A Note of Thanks From Brenda The support I've received means more to me that words could ever express...
In March of 2008 I found myself dealing with Breast Cancer. I've been through a lot in my life with health challenges, but never expected to deal with this. I figured older women worry about this... I was wrong! I've never had family support, but I also never thought I would go through this alone. I had plans of marriage that morning, a beautiful baguette diamond ring sat on my left finger and I was planning my move to Kelowna, Canada. I thought my life was perfect. Then two hours later I discovered I needed immediate health attention. I never thought I Breast Cancer would cross my path. The man who promised to always be there for me was at the shop in Canada working on this custom bike in the photo we called "Goldmember" and equal to the shock of an unexpected health crisis was the horrible shock of learning I would go thru this health crisis alone. After three great years being there for him and that very morning discussing our future plans together, constantly hearing from him he was my family; I never thought the person who called himself my other half would bail. No offers to be with me through the terror of waiting for malignancy tests. No conversations with my doctors, no visits to the medical center. He sent me a text message that said "sorry." A text message?! Not even decent enough to tell me in person, a cell phone call? There are NO words that come close to describing the emotional terror of abandonment.
Physically I'm strong, I knew I could deal with the physical issues, but to be treated like I was DEAD as soon Breast Cancer was mentioned was too much to deal with.My life changed overnight. I NEVER saw it coming. My body went into what the doctors called a crisis state. My body started shutting down causing other medical complications. They said dealing with Breast Cancer without family support, having a partner bail, no financial support and no insurance was too much. I'd been through so much pain throughout my life, I was ready to check out. I didn't fear death; I feared that I didn't want to live. Life was heading at a cliff full throttle with no brakes. Then word got out in the motorcycle community what I was going through. It was mortifying to find yourself in the "help needed" section, yet that changed to an immeasurable sense of gratitude. I was embraced by familiar faces and strangers who ride motorcycles with bigger hearts than I've ever known. Thank you to Cyril and thank you to each and everyone of you! Thank you to WomenMotorcyclist.com for setting up this site to support me! Thank you to Alecia Moore aka "P!NK" - our "SO WHAT - I'M NOT DEAD" Advisor! Thank you to Malcolm Smith - my "ON ANY SUNDAY" Advisor! You folks picked me up when my life took a supercharged, fuel injected slam to the ground. Infinite Love & Gratitude!
