Welcome to Women Motorcyclist.....
Whether your ride your own, ride on the back or simply enjoy the motorcycle lifestyle; this website is dedicated to celebrating you, enjoying the ride and your passion for two wheels.
The founder of women motorcyclist is Brenda FoxBrenda Fox, a spokesperson for women in motorcycling, professional motorcycle test rider, motorcycle journalist, stunt actor ... and high-profile motorcycle enthusiast whose inner circle includes AMA Hall of famers Malcolm Smith, Skip Van Leeuwen, Danny LaPorte, reads as the "who's who" of the best motorcyclist in the world. Few women have had the opportunity to ride with motorcycle icons such as Jesse James and Arlen Ness, but Brenda's pavement history includes legends such as these and other highly respected motorcycle greats. She has trained with Motorcycle Hall of Fame legend Fast Freddie Spencer, raced in several SCORE Off Road races along the likes of the Baja 1000, and fitness trained with six time AMA National Motocross Championships "Golden Boy" Broc Glover.

Appearing in motorcycle publications such as American Rider, Easy Riders, and V-Twin Motorcycling; Brenda has the diversity to transverse from the motorcycle media mainstream to elite luxury lifestyle publications such as the Robb Report Magazine and lifestyle publications that support women in living their best life possible.

Brenda Fox has the street cred to back it up. She is one of the only females in the industry whose opinion, knowledge and expertise allow her to test ride and review some of the most elite motorcycles in the world. She possesses an exceptional aptness to master intimidating machines and look good while doing it. Ms. Fox has been featured on billboards, book covers, TV shows, such as ER, and Family Law, as well as ads and national commercials for Intel and Chevrolet.

MALCOLM SMITH from the legendary film
ON ANY SUNDAY

joins motorcyclist journalist BRENDA FOX  in leading the Sturgis Breast Cancer Ride!

Malcolm teams with Brenda in leading the Bike for Breast Cancer Awareness - EWC Top 50 Rally Park Charity Ride.

Thursday August 7, 2008 at the Top 50 Rally Park.

Malcolm Smith, one of the most multi-faceted competitors ever to take to the dirt wowed fans for over three decades with numerous trips to the victory podium. His racing career included six Baja 1000 victories, four Baja 500 wins, eight gold medals at the International Six Day Trials (ISDT) and a collection of four-wheel victories. However, it was his co-starring role in the 1971 moto movie epic On Any Sunday that garnered him the most recognition. Produced by Bruce Brown and Steve McQueen, the movie helped launch America's love affair with dirt biking – and introduced Malcolm to scores of new fans.

This year’s event will benefit Brenda a motorcycle journalist and spokes person for women in motorcycling. Brenda has been battling breast cancer and other health issues and rising medical bills. This year’s ride and charity auction proceeds will assist her in getting through this difficult time, allowing the industry to give back to the woman who has helped so many motorcycle builders and parts manufacturers. The ride begins at 12.00 noon. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the registration fee is $15 per person.

Below - a note of thanks from Brenda

To Cyril Huze, Womenmotorcyclist.com, Malcolm Smith, "P!nk" and fellow motorcyclist – Thank you!

The support I've received means more to me that words could ever express.
I never thought I would be dealing with Breast Cancer and other health issues.
In March of this year I found myself dealing with breast cancer. I've been thru a lot in my life with health challenges, but never expected to deal with this. I figured older women worry about this. I was wrong!
I also never thought I would be alone. I was engaged that morning and thought my life was perfect.
When I discovered I needed immediate health attention, I had plans of marriage, a beautiful baquette diamond engagement ring sat on my left finger and I was planning my move to Kelowna Canada.  The man I was going to marry was at the shop in Canada working on this custom bike we called “Goldmember”. I spoke to my fiance that morning who was prepping this bike for an upcoming bike competition,  but his reaction to the health issues I was now facing devastated me more than words could express. After three great years being there for him, that very morning discussing our future plans together, he constantly told me he was my family...until later that day when I had the shock of learning I'd have to deal with Breast Cancer and issues. I never imagined he would leave me to deal with this on my own. It didn't matter to him that just that morning in talked of spending the rest of our lives together.
What kind of person was I engaged to? What kind of person would do this?
He never came down  ...  He sent a text message that said sorry and called with pretty lame excuses. He knew I had no other family support. No offers to be with me thru the terror of waiting for malignacy tests. No words that could possibly describe the emotion pain. What kind of person tells you that morning how much he loves you - then bails?

A motorcycle acquaintance I hardly knew offered to hold my hand in surgery.
Physically I'm strong, I knew I could deal with the physical issues, but to be treat like I was already dead -- as soon as Breast Cancer was mentioned was too much to deal with. My life changed overnight.
I NEVER saw it coming.

My body went into what the doctors called a crisis state.
They said dealing with breast cancer; having the fiancé bail and no financial support was too much. My body started shutting down causing other medical complications.

I didn't fear death. I feared that I didn't want to live.
Life was heading for a cliff full throttle with no brakes.
Then word got out in the motorcycle community what I was going thru. The depth of appreciation I have for the motorcycle community is beyond words. I’ve been embraced by familiar faces and strangers who ride motorycles with bigger hearts than I’ve ever known.

Thank you to Cyril and thank you to each and every one of you!

Thank you to Womenmotorcyclist.com for setting up this site to support me!

Thank you to Malcolm Smith - My "On Any Sunday" Advisor!

Thank you to Alecia Moore aka "P!NK" - My Grammy winning "I'm NOT Dead" Advisor!

You folks picked me up when my life took a supercharged, fuel injected slam to the ground
I AM overwhelmed with gratitude.

Thank you for your love and support!
